A transregional research project in which fundamental scientific findings were applied in collaboration with industry partners through so-called transfer projects. Here, the KTmfk researched a knowledge-based system for the data-driven design and optimization of component designs.

BFS MeLD:
This publicly funded research project, in collaboration with Schaeffler, focuses on machine learning in the field of rolling bearing dynamics. This allows the dynamic behavior of rolling bearings to be considered for different operating ranges during the design of rolling bearing cages.
