The academic staff of WiGeP (Scientific Society for Product Development) gathered in Berlin for their annual Assistants’ Meeting, hosted by the Virtual Product Development Competence Field and attended by Jessica Pickel representing KTmfk. Workshops and discussions focused on new approaches to sustainable product development, decision-making in early product development, and the ways artificial intelligence is transforming practices in development, teaching, and research. The insights gained will feed into further cross-chair exchange. The programme was complemented by a visit to Siemensstadt’s Square and Learning Lab, where current challenges in energy supply were discussed together.
