From August 11 to 14, 2026, NordDesign 2026 took place in Tampere, Finland. The international Design Society conference focused on current developments in product development, with particular emphasis on how technological innovations can be aligned with societal, cultural, and ethical requirements.
KTmfk was represented with two contributions. Jessica Pickel presented her paper “Text-to-Ontology in Product Development: Leveraging NLP and LLM for Semantic Requirements Integration.” Altay Kaçan presented his contribution “ToCAD: 3D CAD Reverse Engineering through tree search algorithms and multimodal large language models” and received the Best Paper Award for his work.
