KTmfk at the Saxon Simulation Meeting (SAXSIM) 2026 in Chemnitz

On March 17, Moritz Treschau and Tim Ruf attended SAXSIM in Chemnitz, a conference focused on simulation and digital methods in product development. The presentations covered a wide range of current topics, including structural and material optimization with a focus on FEM and CFD methods, artificial intelligence, new software applications, and human-technology interaction. Particularly noteworthy are the diverse FEM application scenarios and innovative software features, which offer several points of connection to our own research at KTmfk. The day before, a guided tour of the Institute of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (ICM) in Chemnitz offered exciting insights into current research activities in the fields of automation, production engineering, and new mobility solutions. The day concluded with a joint evening program at the Turmbrauhaus in Chemnitz, providing an opportunity for professional exchange with representatives from academia and industry.
