Final event of KoPra – firefighting operation

As part of this year’s design project course (KoPra), the challenge for the students was to develop an autonomous firefighting vehicle controlled by a microcontroller to extinguish a fire. The students’ vehicles had to complete various scenarios in autonomous and remote-controlled mode. After taking on water, they had to navigate a slalom course and extinguish various burning targets from a distance. Four teams with different vehicle concepts demonstrated what their vehicles were capable of at a very successful final event on 4 February 2026. The prize for the best overall concept was awarded by a jury of experts from KTmfk, while the students determined the best design and the best video.
