Funding Approval within the FAU Emerging Talents Initiative
Dr.-Ing. Stefan Götz, Senior Engineer at the Chair, has received funding through the Emerging Talents Initiative (ETI) of Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. The program supports the development of new research projects, the preparation of competitive third-party funding proposals, and the strengthening of early scientific independence.
The funded project, entitled “Uncertainty as a Resource: Efficient and Sustainable Models for Virtual Product Development,” proposes a novel perspective on handling uncertainty in digital product development. Its objective is to systematically capture uncertainties along the V-model, make them transparent, and deliberately leverage them to enable more efficient and sustainable modeling and decision-making processes.
