Our new annual report has been published and looks back on an eventful and highly successful year at the Chair of Engineering Design (KTmfk). The sixth edition takes you through a year filled with key personnel milestones, scientific achievements, and international presence.
A particularly defining moment was the appointment of Junior Professor Katharina Völkel, who has taken over the “Machine Elements” course, thereby sustainably strengthening a central pillar of the curriculum. At the same time, we were delighted to celebrate several outstanding appointments from within our own ranks: Max Marian, Fabian Wilking, and Marcel Bartz accepted professorships in Hanover, Monterey (USA), and Dortmund—an impressive testament to the excellent support of early-career researchers at KTmfk.
