New Employee: Martin Bauer
Martin Bauer joined the Tolerance Management Group as a research assistant in mid-November. As part of the MezSaQ shrink fit project, he is working on the development of time-efficient simulation methods for shrink fits. The aim is to efficiently analyze the deformation and mechanical stresses, taking geometric deviations into account, and thus enable a robust design. In his future work, he will develop a deviation-based finite element reference model, validate it experimentally, and, based on this, develop methods for accelerating the simulation, including model simplifications and data-driven approaches.
