WiGeP VPE Assistants Meeting in Munich
Following the invitation of Prof. Zimmermann, Head of the Laboratory for Product Development and Lightweight Design, the WiGeP Assistants Meeting took place in Munich on October 23-24, 2025. Researchers from across Germany, including Simon Schleifer from the Chair of Engineering Design (KTmfk), gathered to discuss current research topics in product development. The first day focused on lively exchanges and presentations of the research fields of the participating chairs, before a guided tour of the Olympia Park rounded off the day successfully. On the second day, a workshop on the use of AI methods in product development led to exciting and profound insights.
