On October 7, the CADFEM Conference 2025 took place in Künzelsau. The focus of this application-oriented conference was on simulation and digital methods in engineering, particularly in the areas of structural mechanics, AI, automation, process integration, and design optimization. The KTmfk participated with a presentation and was represented by Dr.-Ing. Christian Witzgall and Moritz Treschau. The presentation introduced a method for detecting deviations in fiber orientation in composite materials using digital image correlation. The presentation attracted great interest and led to interesting technical discussions with other participants.
