KTmfk @ CADFEM Conference 2024
At this year’s CADFEM Conference 2024 in Darmstadt, 700 international representatives from science and industry met for professional exchange and networking. Keynotes and top-class user presentations with topics from everyday engineering and simulation were held in the “Darmstadtium” conference building. The KTmfk was represented by Patrick Steck and Johannes Mayer with a lecture on “Multi-body simulation of ankle foot orthosis mechanics” and an “Academic Roundtable Session”. In his presentation, Patrick Steck showed a new way of supporting weakened dorsiflexion and plantar flexion using an innovative mechanism. The Academic Roundtable discussed the integration of and feedback on the ANSYS simulation software in academic education. Due to the user relevance, Patrick Steck was interviewed by Hessischer Rundfunk. The contribution was shown on 11.04.2024 in the Hessenschau.
