Doctorate Matthias Müller
The Chair of Design Engineering congratulates Mr Matthias Müller on passing his doctoral examination for the degree of Dr.-Ing. on 18.04.2024. Matthias Müller successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Potentials and perspectives of a ring lubrication system for the lubricant supply of rolling and plain bearings”. As part of his doctoral thesis, Mr Müller experimentally investigated the possibilities of using ring lubrication systems in electric motors in an industrial environment to increase the service life of rotor rolling bearings. He also passed the internal doctoral examination in the evening by his colleagues with flying colours. We wish him all the best for the future!
