Structure of the co-simulation model between musculoskeletal human model, exoskeleton and power tool

The latest publication of the KTmfk with the project partners from Hamburg (LaFT) and Karlsruhe (IPEK) was selected as the cover story for the March issue of the journal Applied Sciences. The publication addresses a co-simulation model consisting of a musculoskeletal human model, an exoskeleton model and a power tool model, which can be used to derive design aspects of the support systems (exoskeleton and power tool). The co-simulation model allows user-centered requirements to be taken into account early on in the product development process when developing the support systems, thus reducing the strain on users during overhead work: https://doi.org/10.3390/app14062573
