KTmfk at the 64th German Tribology Conference
The Gesellschaft für Tribologie e.V. (Society for Tribology) again organized this year’s Tribology Conference, already in its 64th year, which took place from September 25th to 27th in Göttingen. This time the KTmfk was represented by Mr. Neusser and Dr. Bartz. Mr. Neusser gave a presentation on the topic of knee arthroplasty entitled “Amorphous carbon coatings for total knee arthroplasty – A knee simulator evaluation”. Dr. Bartz presented recent results of the research work of Mr. Halmos on the subject of “Characterization of fatigue damage in rolling bearings under oscillating motion”. Both presentations were well received and enabled successful networking with other experts in this field. During the social program, existing contacts were deepened and new ones could be established.
