Potentials of the application of digital engineering in product development
The potentials of digital engineering for SMEs are undisputed. Unfortunately, there is no current overview of already realised applications, best-practices and use-cases of these methods in mechatronic product development, which currently leads to comparatively little usage of these methods. In our recent joint publication of the KTmfk, the ITPE of the Universität der Bundeswehr München and the Institute of CAD of the University Bayreuth, we therefore analyse the current research landscape on the application of digital engineering methods.
