Doctorate Martin Roth
The Chair of Design Engineering congratulates Mr Martin Roth on successfully passing his doctoral examination for the degree of Dr.-Ing. on 21.12.2023. Mr Roth presented the contents of his dissertation entitled “Sampling-based Tolerance-Cost-Optimization: The Key to Optimal Tolerance Allocation”. In his dissertation, he developed a method with which the balancing act between low costs and high product quality can be mastered by coordinating all tolerance values in a cost-optimized and automated manner. He also passed the internal doctoral examination in the evening by his colleagues with flying colors. We wish him all the best for the future!
