Doctorate Michael Jüttner
The Chair of Engineering Design congratulates Michael Jüttner on successfully passing the doctoral examination for the degree of Dr.-Ing. on 21.12.2023. Mr. Jüttner presented the contents of his dissertation entitled “Bewertung von Kantenpressungen auf Basis von Simulationen mehrfach überrollter elasto-plastischer Kontakte”. In particular, he focused on the development of an approximation method for the fast simulation of multiple rolled-over contacts and the simulation of edge pressures. In doing so, he has contributed to the evaluation of unfavorable operating conditions of rolling bearings with edge pressures in the context of bearing design. We wish Mr. Jüttner all the best for the future.
