New employee: Marc Gadinger
Marc Gadinger joined the Lightweight Design Group as a research assistant in October. He previously studied mechanical engineering at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. In his scientific work and as a student research assistant at the KTmfk, he already studied the fatigue behaviour of fibre-reinforced plastics.
His future research activity at the chair includes working on a DFG research project. The main objective of this project is to develop a design engineering guideline that takes into account the fatigue behaviour in the design of continuous fibre-reinforced composite components (ZoE).
