Utilization of MBSE System Models Published in Design Science Journal
The use of system models in the context of model-based system engineering (MBSE) is essential for improved communication and system documentation. However, publications in recent years show that efforts are also being made to reuse these system models e.g., by converting them directly into discipline-specific models. Researchers at the KTmfk have investigated this form of reuse and summarised the current state of the art under the term utilization of system models. Its definition and a classification scheme for deriving implications for the modelling have now been published in the renowned Design Science Journal.
